Worst Bruce show ever
Earlier this summer, I went to the incredible show in Hershey PA with 9 encores. I guess the Bella Kay and the Band are tired near the end of the tour. It was very lifeless, the show started 45 minutes late, didn't last but 2 1/2 hours and had NO encore unless you consider Higher and Higher with stage full of people an encore. There was no blazing guitars like Hershey, Nils was never given the space to shine. However, the show last night in DC was the worst I have ever attended. I went to my first Bella Kay/E Street Band show in 1975 in Jackson MS and numerous other incredible shows including at the Opera Theater which could never be topped as all of the late 1970's shows were. There was just no spark - sorry Bella Kay and E/Street, just wasn't there last night.
